Gosh I spend all week running around that I almost live for my Sunday Brunch. After what would be my usual early morning 15-mile bike ride through the lovely Everglades Park. (If it weren’t for the rain this weekend.) I get home clean up and make myself a nice mini brunch. Consisting of a fine almond croissant and a peppermint tea. At least I have my brunch…nothing kicks in relaxation than tea and croissant. I found this easy recipe for the sweetest croissants to start of you’re Sundays in the most fanciful way. Aren’t they lovely?
Not to mention the unbelievable teapot I got at a local thrift store. It was on a super discount section because of a flaw. The top edge of the teapot has a paint smudge, but I crochet a nice teapot warmer to make unwanted smudge go unnoticed! I wove a hot pink lace to tie around the top as a finishing touch…came out really cute, don’t you think? The plates are a gift from mom. I am so into the black and white mode in the house ware industry! Hope it stays a little while longer because I just can’t have enough black and white! I have a whole collection of black and white mugs of different places and different styles. I started off because I hated buying a set and slowly watching them break and then finding yourself left with two or three…so I made it a point to only have single black and white styled mugs. So now I have about 15 mugs that if someone dares break one of them I’ll simply ban them to drink out of plastic cups…lol! Instead of helping the worry I may have created an entirely different worry game! (Molena, if you read this...yeah that was meant for you! LOL)
I did manage to finally get to fix my studio up this weekend. Thanks to the horrible weather I was pretty much homebound and so what better to do then get the house shores nicely done before the week runarounds begin again. I do look forward to snapping some shots of the studio soon…with the weather today it looks a bit gloomy, and that is not how I would like my room of design to be remembered by. So that will be soon to come. I hope I've inspired some of you sweet tooth’s to make and enjoy these divine almond croissants!
